Family Service Society has been serving the people of Paducah and McCracken County since 1927. As the second oldest nonprofit organization in Paducah, we have spent nearly 100 years helping our neighbors through some of the most difficult times in their lives.

We provide assistance with basic needs including food, prescription medications, emergency dental care, eyeglasses, rent and utility assistance, and Christmas food assistance. We also offer financial education classes and other resources to help individuals and families find stability and move forward.

Our food pantry is one of the services we are best known for, providing food to local families who may not know where their next meal is coming from. We also help seniors, individuals with disabilities, families facing an unexpected hardship, and anyone in our community who finds themselves in need of a helping hand.

From the mother trying to feed her children, to the senior who needs help paying a utility bill, to the neighbor who needs medical or dental care, Family Service Society has been here for Paducah for nearly 100 years.
